Founder, Ms Elizabeth Bond, BA (Hons.) Cert TESOL, is a native speaker of English and possesses extensive experience in both translation and proofreading. She began while still at university and since then, has proofread and translated everything from student dissertations to leaflets for animal charities. She holds a degree in Modern Languages and Linguistics, with a special focus on the syntax, phonology and morphology of German, English and Spanish.

Following graduation, she completed the Trinity College Certificate in TESOL, obtaining a distinction in her written exam. This led her to Germany where she taught Business English to major clients in the Ruhr area, including Siemens, RWE and MAN Turbo. In addition, she was appointed oral examiner for the LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) certificates and invigilated written examinations for both the LCCI and Cambridge Boards.

Thereafter, she worked at the international "Magic Circle" law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for several years, where she was, inter alia, responsible for proofreading and translating a variety of documents including correspondence, contracts and reports.
